My Philosophy
The Kaizen philosophy is rooted in Japan, a country I’ve always had a keen interest in. However, I first found out about the idea after watching a video of Bob Kramer, a talented blade-smith. Kaizen is defined as a style of continuous business improvement made in small increments. The idea focuses on improving processes and products while using employee creativity to help define the way procedures and systems can be improved.
To me, the idea is a conscious decision to separate oneself from mediocrity to progressively improve daily and pursue excellence in all that one does. I live by it, and it echoes through how I do business, how I see others and how I see myself. We are all working towards achieving our highest selves, I hope this philosophy inspires you as much as it does me.
